The 1602 LCD is a widely used 16-column × 2-row alphanumeric liquid crystal display module, perfect for displaying text, numbers, and custom characters in embedded systems and electronics projects. Based on the HD44780 controller, it is compatible with virtually every microcontroller platform including Arduino, STM32, PIC, and ESP32.
